Abstract
Two processes: modernization and globalization are the changes of the XXI century. The innovations of science and technique change human life, force people to change their usual stereotypes of thinking. In the regulations of state education strategy 2003-2012 it is indicated, that the development of education quality should inure personal and public rules, development of common competences. Modern-day information society is a society, which manages, knows and wants to use the possibilities of information technologies. The survey “The usage of electronic media by the first and the third year students” in Siauliai college in 2006-2007 was carried out. The opinion of respondents will carry authority for the quality of studies seeking to educate students capable to work in fast vicissitude of technologies
