Elliptic functions and integrals
Journal Title: Surveys in Mathematics and its Applications - Year 2008, Vol 3, Issue 0
Abstract
This paper presents the basic ideas and properties of elliptic functions and elliptic integrals as an expository essay. It explores some of their numerous consequences and includes applications to some problems such as the simple pendulum and the Euler rigid body motion.

Homotopy analysis method for solving KdV equations
A scheme is developed for the numerical study of the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) and the Korteweg-de Vries Burgers (KdVB) equations with initial conditions by a homotopy approach. Numerical solutions obtained by homotopy ana...
A unique common fixed point theorem for occasionally weakly compatible maps
The aim of this paper is to establish a unique common fixed point theorem for two pairs of occasionally weakly compatible single and multi-valued maps in a metric space. This result improves the result of Türkoglu et al....
On certain Baskakov-Durrmeyer type operators
This paper is a study of the degree of approximation by the linear combinations of the derivatives of certain Durrmeyer type integral modification of the Baskakov operators in terms of the higher order modulus of smoothn...
Considerations on some algebraic properties of Feynman integrals
Some algebraic properties of integralsover configuration spaces are investigated in order to better understandquantization and the Connes-Kreimer algebraic approach to renormalization. <BR>In order to isolate the m...
Fixed time impulsive differential inclusions
In the paper we study weak and strong invariance of differential inclusions with fixed time impulses and with state constraints. We also investigate some properties of the solution set of impulsive system without state co...
