Elliptic functions and integrals
Journal Title: Surveys in Mathematics and its Applications - Year 2008, Vol 3, Issue 0
Abstract
This paper presents the basic ideas and properties of elliptic functions and elliptic integrals as an expository essay. It explores some of their numerous consequences and includes applications to some problems such as the simple pendulum and the Euler rigid body motion.

A unique common fixed point theorem for occasionally weakly compatible maps
The aim of this paper is to establish a unique common fixed point theorem for two pairs of occasionally weakly compatible single and multi-valued maps in a metric space. This result improves the result of Türkoglu et al....

A Fuzzy Commitment Scheme with McEliece's Cipher
In this paper an attempt has been made to explain a fuzzy commitment scheme with McEliece scheme. The efficiency and security of this cryptosystem is comparatively better than any other cryptosystem. This scheme is one o...
Almost-periodic solution for BAM neural networks
In this paper, we study the existence and uniqueness solution and investigate the conditions that make it almost-periodic solution for BAM neural networks with retarded delays. The existence of solution established by us...
Existence and nonexistence results for second-order Neumann boundary value problem
In this paper some existence and nonexistence results for positive solutions are obtained for second-order boundary value problem
-u"+Mu=f(t,u), t∈(0,1)
with Neumann boundary conditions <C...
