Empirical study of peculiarities of academic motivation of students

Abstract
The article analyzes and generalizes the existing scientific approaches to the problem of motivation. The psychological theories of motivation and approaches to the definition of the notion of academic motivation in the educational process of the institution of higher education are considered. The results of the empirical study of academic motivation among students are presented.
