Endoscopic Modalities in Diagnosis of Lung Cancer
Journal Title: Nükleer Tıp Seminerleri - Year 2018, Vol 4, Issue 1
Abstract
Lung cancer remains a common and deadly disease. Many modalities are available to the bronchoscopist to evaluate and stage lung cancer. We review the role of fiberoptic bronchoscopy, convex endobronchial ultrasound and endoscopic (trans esophageal) ultrasonography in the diagnostic accuracy of lung cancer and staging of the mediastinum.
