Journal Title: Журнал ÑтреÑÑ-физиологии и биохимии - Year 2005, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract

EFFECTS OF SALICYLIC ACID ON SEEDLING GROWTH AND NITROGEN METABOLISM IN CUCUMBER (CUCUMIS SATIVUS L.)
Salicylic acid is involved in the regulation of metabolic activity and defense mechanism in plants under various stress conditions. Present study was conducted to determine the effects of salicylic acid (10 to 500 μM) on...
Assessment of stress due to hot ambience in donkeys from arid tracts in India
To assess the stress due to hot ambience in donkeys from arid tracts in Rajasthan state, India, serum prolactin and cortisol levels were determined by radioimmunoassay. The blood samples to harvest the serum were collect...
THE IMPORTANCE OF OXIDATIVE PHOSPHORYLATION UNCOUPLING SYSTEMS FUNCTION FOR SURVIVING OF WINTER WHEAT SEEDLING SHOOTS DURING SHORT-TERM COLD STRESS
The influence of uncoupling of oxidative phosphorylation in mitochondria on surviving of winter wheat seedling during low-temperature stress was investigated. It was shown that infiltration of winter wheat seedling by ex...
Effect of Abiotic Stresses on Histidine kinases Gene Expression in Zea mays L. cv. SC. 704
UV-B radiation and osmotic stress (like drought and salinity) have a significant effect on physiology, morphology, biochemistry and molecular biology. To cope with such stimuli, plants must be able to effectively sense,...
