Energy-technical methods of partnership (duetness) in ballroom dances

Abstract
The purpose of the work is to reveal and analyze the energy-technical methods in ballroom choreography, which promote the revealing of duet image in a dance. Methodology of the research is based on the principles of theory and practice unity, objectivity and complexity of the research, projective methods and methods of learning and generalization of progressive choreographic experience. Scientific novelty consists in focusing on the role of energy and technique during fulfilling a choreographic duet, which is a guarantee of embodiment of artistic imagery in a ballroom dance and in revealing the meaning of partnership for the higher choreographic education system. Conclusions. It was proved that the energetic contact between partners influences the technique of fulfilling figures, gesture coordination, sense of rhythm, which transfers duetness from the format of simple mechanics into the format of natural plastique, which can be achieved with help of maximal sense effect between feminine and masculinity. The study points out that with the help of these conditions peculiar technique methods turn into the “cells” of an integrated duet image, which is especially noticeable through the example of ballroom choreography art.
