ENERGY VULNERABILITY OF ECOLOGICAL AND ECONOMIC SYSTEMS UNDER THE RESOURCE PRICE FLUCTUATIONS

Abstract
This paper examines the problems of energy vulnerability of ecological and economic systems of the national economy under the resource price fluctuations. It is underlined the necessity of energy security increase and low domestic enterprises efficiency improvement in conditions of natural environment deterioration. Within this paper the UNDP decomposition model of national economy energy vulnerability is extended by including the relative energy intensity performance of production capital and capital intensity of GDP. The paper uses translogarithmic production function of three production factors: human labour, productive capital and energy in order to detect structural changes in production cost of finished products for a unit of input price change.
