ENERGYLOADING OF VARIOUS TYPES OF DISCS IN BRAKE DEVICES OF LIFTING AND TRANSPORTING MACHINES (PART ONE)

Abstract
The article illustrates the comparative analysis of the features of the designs of solid and selfventilated brake discs, their materials, based on the energyloading, and also the article illustrates energy balance of the circulating in the disk cavity air flow. In this publication, the following issues are considered in relation to the problem being solved: system analysis of structures of various types of brake discs; layout diagrams of pads with overlays in relation to the radii of their location on the solid brake disc; energy balance of the air flow, washing the elements of the "filling" in the cavity of the self-ventilated disk. The purpose of the work is to justify the design features of solid and self-ventilated brake discs, based on their energyloading. We’ve estimated the energyloading of the solid and self-ventilated brake discs and we’ve outlined the ways of its reduction.
