Enhancing Business Intelligence in a Smarter Computing Environment through Cost Analysis
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Computer Science & Applications - Year 2011, Vol 2, Issue 12
Abstract
The paper aims at improving Business Intelligence in a Smarter Computing Environment through Cost Analysis. Smarter Computing is a new approach to designing IT infrastructures to create new opportunities like creating new business models, find new ways of delivering technology-based services, and generate new insights from IT to fuel innovation and dramatically improve the economics of IT. The paper looks at various performance metrics to lower the cost of implementing Business intelligence in a smarter computing environment, to generate a cost efficient system. To ensure it, smarter services are deployed with business strategy. The working principle is based on workloads optimizations and their corresponding performance metrics like value metrics, Advanced Data Capabilities and Virtualizations so as to decrease the total IT cost.

Supporting Self-Organization with Logical-Clustering Towards Autonomic Management of Internet-of-Things
One of the challenges for autonomic management in Future Internet is to bring about self-organization in a rapidly changing environment and enable participating nodes to be aware and respond to changes. The massive numbe...
Faster Scalar Multiplication Algorithm to Implement a Secured Elliptic Curve Cryptography System
Elliptic Curve Cryptography provides similar strength of protection comparing other public key cryptosystems but requires significantly smaller key size. This paper proposes a new faster scalar multiplication algorithm a...
Balancing a Sphere in a Linear Oscillatory Movement through Fuzzy Control
The following paper describes an intelligent control problem, which depends on the balance of a metallic sphere on a beam, that oscillates in only one point, localized in the middle of the beam, using it for the ba...
Simulation of Shunt Active Power Filter Controlled by SVPWM Connected to a Photovoltaic Generator
In this paper we study the shunt active power filter. This filter contains a voltage three-level inverter controlled by the SVPWM strategy supplied by a the DC bus powered by a solar array to improve the quality of elect...
