Ensuring Data Provenance with Package Watermarking
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Computer Science & Applications - Year 2017, Vol 8, Issue 5
Abstract
The last decade has shown tremendous growth data production from different sectors, e.g., biology, financial markets, scientific computing, business processes, Internet of Things. The “Data is New Oil” has become a proverb in academic and corporate circles. Accordingly, tracing, recording origin and deriving data called data provenance has gained tremendous traction across board. Privacy and security of data are major challenges to provenance management. This can be tackled using watermarking. The downside of majority of existing watermarking techniques is data distortion. In this work, we purpose a novel approach called package watermarking that addresses the data capacity, usability, robustness, security, distortion, verifiability, and detectability issues in data provenance.

Energy-Aware Virtual Network Embedding Approach for Distributed Cloud
Network virtualization has caught the attention of many researchers in recent years. It facilitates the process of creating several virtual networks over a single physical network. Despite this advantage, however, networ...
Exon_Intron Separation Using Amino Acids Groups Frenquency Repartition as Coding Technique
This paper presents a new coding technique based on amino acids repartition in chromosome. The signal generated with this coding technique constitutes, after treatment, a new way to separate between exons and introns in...
Delay-Decomposition Stability Approach of Nonlinear Neutral Systems with Mixed Time-Varying Delays
This paper deals with the asymptotic stability of neutral systems with mixed time-varying delays and nonlinear perturbations. Based on the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional including the triple integral terms and free weigh...
An Efficient Mechanism Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks by using Grids
Multilevel short-distance clustering communication is an important scheme to reduce lost data packets over the path to the sink, particularly when nodes are deployed in a dense WSN (wireless sensor network). Our proposed...
ASCII based Sequential Multiple Pattern Matching Algorithm for High Level Cloning
For high level of clones, the ongoing (present) research scenario for detecting clones is focusing on developing better algorithm. For this purpose, many algorithms have been proposed but still we require the methods tha...
