ENVIRONMENTAL GUIDELINE IN PRIORITIES OF INTEGRAL PLANNING PROCESS IN UKRAINE

Abstract
Ukraine is faced with a range of problems in the field of socio-economic development, global challenges, and rapid deterioration of the environment. The lack of strategic documents that would determine the main vector of state development as well as absence of an approach to integrate certain goals and objectives in sectoral policies are obvious in this situation. Abovementioned is mostly tied to the system of spatial planning that obviously should be improved accordingly to European standards including the field of environmental protection. The problems and ways of implementation of the provisions and goals of sustainable development in Ukraine have been analyzed in the article. The concept of the integral planning process has been disclosed. The role and place of Sustainable Spatial Development Strategy within Ukrainian system of planning legislation have been outlined. The main directions of landscape planning implementation into schemes of planning of Ukrainian territory have been defined. The content of the goals and objectives of Ukrainian Strategy for Sustainable Spatial Development as well as guidelines for improving of the spatial planning system taking into account interests of society and nature have been revealed.
