ENVIRONMENTAL PROPERTIES OF GALAXIES AT Z < 0.1 FROM THE SDSS VIA THE VORONOI TESSELLATION
Journal Title: Odessa Astronomical Publications - Year 2014, Vol 27, Issue 1
Abstract
The aim of our work was to investigate the environmental density of galaxies fromthe SDSS DR9 at z < 0.1 using the 3D Voronoi tessellation. The inverse volume of the Voronoi cell was chosen as a parameter of local environmental density. We examined a density of given bright galaxy taking into account its faint satellites located in the Voronoi cell. We found that with the increase of total galaxy density around the central bright galaxy, the probability that it has the early type is increasing.

DECAMETER PULSARS AND TRANSIENTS SURVEY OF THE NORTHERN SKY. STATUS, FIRST RESULTS, MULTIPARAMETRIC PIPELINE FOR CANDIDATE SELECTION
We present the results of processing first 20% of Northern sky pulsars and transients survey using UTR-2 radio telescope. Data processing is done by an automatic pipeline that detects and outputs a large number of transi...
THE PHYSICAL CONDITIONS OF THE CENTRAL PART OF ORION A HII REGION BY THE RADIO RECOMBINATION LINES AT 8 AND 13 MM
Observations of recombination radio lines (RRL) of hydrogen, helium (H, He) and carbon (C) were carried out in several positions of the HII region Orion A with RT22 radio telescope (Pushchino, Russia) at the wavelengths...
DEPRESSION IN THE CONTINUOUS SPECTRUM OF SOLAR RADIATION IN THE REGION 6500 − 8200˚A
Based on the authors’ computations of cross-sections of the basic processes which form continuous absorption in the photospheres of solar-type stars, the spectral dependence of the solar radiation intensity in the contin...
LONGTERM CHANGES OF SOLAR ACTIVITY ASYMMETRY
We report results of analysis of the northsouth asymmetry of solar activity, solar magnetic fields. The analysis is based on the sunspot data, 1875–2015 (http://solarscience.msfc.nasa.gov/greenwch.shtml), largescale sola...
SPECTROSCOPICAL STUDY OF FAINT SOUTHERN CEPHEIDS WITH SOUTHERN AFRICAN LARGE TELESCOPE (SALT). FIRST RESULTS.
First Cepheids observations using echelle-spectrograph HRS fed by Southern African Large Telescope (SALT) were realized during 2016. All spectra have been obtained in the medium resoltion mode (R≈31000–41000) wth high S/...
