Equilibrium stability analysis by numerical simulations for a linear system with time-delayed control
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2019, Vol 11, Issue 2
Abstract
The work starts from the linearization of a nonlinear mathematical model of the electrohydraulic servomechanism with structural switching and delayed control. The delay, as well as the switching structure, can lead to instability and to the deterioration of the dynamic system performance. Between the different approaches to the delay problem, this article considers the predictive feedback method. The question of switching structure is herein treated empirically, aiming in the numerical simulation not to impose on the system a magnitude of the disturbance of the zero equilibrium that leads to switching by changing the sign of the state variable which is the displacement of the servovalve spool. Numerical simulations allow to highlight a critical delay, which is attested by comparison to an analytical method.

Considerations on EN 9100: 2016 / AS 9100D standard new changes
This article aims to highlight the main changes brought by the new edition of standard EN 9100: 2016 / AS 9100D. This standard is an effective tool for organizations working in the aerospace industry, providing the frame...
IAR-93 military aircraft monument
In this presentation, we will concentrate on the vertical support, which is free from all sides. A Finite Element Model (FEM) of the IAR-93 aircraft monument has been developed in PATRAN/NASTRAN®, partly from a previous...
Trigger event – a key factor in adverse Aircraft/Rotorcraft Pilot Couplings
An important element that interacts unfavorably with pilot and aircraft is the triggering event. Without a trigger event (or a chain of triggering events) A/RPC does not appear. This study presents an overview of diffe...
Multifunctional composites and nanocomposites with applications in the aerospace industry
Polymer nanocomposites (PNCs) ,namely, nanoparticles dispersed in a polymer matrix, have garnered academic and industrial interest since 1990. This is due to the very attractive properties of nanostructurated fillers, a...
