Abstract
У статті розкривається значимість національної моделі української дитячої опери, яку створив М. Лисенко. Вона увібрала в себе ментальність українського народу, ліричну й декламаційну мелодику, реалістичні типи і характери героїв, що тісно пов’язані з мовно-словесною та фольклорною інтонацією. Дитяча оперна спадщина М.Лисенка є цінним педагогічним здобутком, який надає українському народу статусу самобутнього, унікального та активного суб’єкта історії, що має індивідуальні психологічні особливості.
