ESTIMATION OF PEDESTRIAN COMFORT ON THE BASIS OF NUMERICAL MODELING OF WIND AERODYNAMICS OF BUILDINGS IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL DEVELOPMENT
Journal Title: International Journal for Computational Civil and Structural Engineering - Year 2019, Vol 15, Issue 2
Abstract
The distinctive paper is devoted to the methodology of pedestrian comfort estimation in the nearby area of the object under construction. A verification example of the wind flow simulation around and through a porous object is considered in order to select correct permeability parameters of the computational model of green spaces. The methodology of pedestrian comfort estimation is tested on the example of a real residential complex in Moscow. The results of the numerical simulation of velocity fields are used to calculate the criteria for pedestrian comfort specified in MDS 20-1.2006. Numerical results are obtained and compared for two study cases - without and with green spaces (bushes),to assess their impact on pedestrian comfort and the possibility of its adjustment.

ABOUT CONTEMPORARY APPROACHES TO REDUCTION OF COMPUTATIONAL DIMENSION OF PROBLEMS OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS WITHIN FINITE ELEMENT METHOD
At present, as is known, there are many methods of reduction of computational dimension of problems of structural analysis within finite element method (FEM), including the reduction of the dimensions of the mass matrix...
RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN DEFORMATIONS AND STRESSES AT CONTACT ZONE OF FLAT-STRESSED COMPOSITE ELEMENT, WHICH WAS SUBJECTED CORROSION DAMAGES
A computational model of deformation of a flat-stressed reinforced-concrete composite element in the contact zone is proposed. Deformation equations takes the form of the relationships between the final increments&...

NON-RIGID KINEMATIC EXCITATION FOR MULTIPLY-SUPPORTED SYSTEM WITH HOMOGENEOUS DAMPING
This paper continues the discussion of linear equations of motion. The author considers non-rigid kinematic excitation for multiply-supported system leading to the deformations in quasi-static response. It turns out that...
