Abstract

Every human ac ti vity is et hi cally gro un ded. The re fo re, hu man et hics, which in clu des sport et hics, is one of the fun da men tal cri te ria for esta blis hing mo ral re la ti ons in dif fe rent are as of sport li fe. Sport mo ra le stems from a uni ver sally ac cep ted et hic sle gal prin ci ples that aim at ma in ta i ning sport spi rit ba sed on the Olympics co dex and hu ma nity prin ci ples, among which are: con sci o u sness and ho nesty, rig hte o u sness, cul tu ral-be ha vi or prin ci ple, openness, and the li ke. Chan ges in sport (or ga ni za ti o nal, struc tu ral, com pe ti tion, etc.) need to be ade qu ately adju sted to uni ver sal, and ge ne rally ac cep ted, va lu es. Avo i ding de on to lo gi cal et hics ine vi tably le ads to in cre a sed sports im mo ra lity (re fe re es_ fi xing match re sults, spec tators_ ag gres si ve be ha vi or, che a ting using for bid den do ping, etc.). Thus, pro jec ting and in tro du cing in no va ti ons in the fi eld of sport, which, af ter all, are ne ces sary and una vo ida ble in all are as of li fe, in clu ding sport, will even tu ally show its po si ti ve re sults only if the afo re men ti o ned aspects of sport et hics are ta ken in to con si de ra tion.
