ETHICS AS ESSENTIAL INSTRUMENT OF MANAGEMENT SUPPORT IN MODERN ORGANIZATIONS

Abstract
Ethics is a discipline guarding the standards which are created to point the right norms of conduct. These standards answer the fundamental questions concerning the options of choice in concrete activities of good and evil. Ethics reaches every sphere of human life, including economics, the economy and business; that is why, one talks about business ethics or economic ethics. Modern business, and, in consequence, management – full of various methods and concepts (described as modern, effective, successful) – needs a broader look considering the other human being. Numbers, effects, results and aims become more important nowadays. They are essential components of management. However, are they the most important things? Do they not obscure the most significant value: the human being. In this article the author attempts to find an objective answer to this question.
