ETUDE THEORIQUE ET EXPERIMENTALE DU RAFRAICHISSEMENT DE L’AIR PAR UN ECHANGEUR GEOTHERMIQUE AIR/SOL

Abstract
This paper presents an experimental and numerical approach to study the thermal phenomena in an air/soil heat exchanger, used for buildings air refreshment. The problem consists to solve the heat equation in the steady state in both soil and the heat exchanger. The soil is considered as homogeneous andinvariant semi-infinite medium. The simplified analytical resolution is proposed by applying the principle of energy conservation for all parts of the heat exchanger. From the results, it is seen that an air/soil heat exchanger might prove an alternative source for air refreshment of buildings when tools of air conditioning are not available. The results of this model show a good agreement with the experimental results which are realized on the site of Biskra University.
