Abstract

The issue of clerical ethics is very complex and can be considered on various grounds. In this paper, after introductory remarks on quite increased interest in public administration standards, there were presented 3 basic grounds of reflection: 1) functions of clerical ethics, 2) rules and procedural values and 3) pattern of attitudes that formst he behaviour of officials. Clerical ethics is not, as it could seem, only simple implementation of general ethics to solve moral dilemmas in public service.
