Journal Title: Revista Romana de Interactiune Om-Calculator - Year 2012, Vol 5, Issue 1

Abstract

In this paper are presented the evaluation result of an augmented reality platform for teaching chemistry based on a methodology which combines the think aloud protocol – TAP and peer-tutoring method. During TAP, the student’s task was to think aloud while solving the exercises from chemistry scenario. The students where asked to describe all they think, do and feel during the exercises. Peer tutoring supposed that students who tested the application based on TAP, teach other students to use it. We consider that this approach supports a better communication during testing then the communication of students with an adult and also offer more information about the potential of the application to be learned.
