EVALUATION OF EXTERNAL RESPIRATORY FUNCTIONS ACCORDING TO THYROID FUNCTION IN PATIENTS WITH BRONCHIAL ASTHMA AND AUTOIMMUNE THYROIDITIS

Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2023, Vol 2, Issue 12

Abstract

The authors argue that the increase in the size of the thyroid gland and the presence of thyroid hormone indicators in the state of subclinical or manifest hypothyroidism prevent a sharp decrease in external respiratory functions. At the same time, the quality of life of patients with bronchial asthma decreases, the risk of complications and death increases.
