EVALUATION OF FOOD SECURITY OF THE STATE BASED ON ITS REGIONAL INDICATORS

Abstract
The article is devoted to the problems of evaluating of food security of the region and on its basis – food security of the state. It was considered approach to the interpretation of the essence of food security, and differences its ensuring at the national and regional levels. Determined that the indicators used for the evaluation of food security is not enough for the purposes of strategic management of it. It examined issues of food security of regions from the standpoint of the conditions of its providing. Was suggested prospective directions of development of methods for evaluating food security of the state based on the safety level of its regions.
