EVOLUTION OF BANKING SERVICES MARKET: THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES

Abstract
The essentiality of the evolution of the banking service market is defined as a complex historical process that leads to changes and modifications of the investigated market. Three theoretical and methodological approaches to its investigation are formulated, in particular, the functional one, that involves the study of processes of modifications of the role and function of the banking service market under financial globalization; the structural and behavioral one, that is concerned with the analysis of transformation of coordination mechanisms of the relationship between market players, and the institutional approach that is based on the identification of factors and trends of institutional changes in the studied market. The economic essence of the current banking service market is elucidated.
