EVOLUTION OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHERS OF MATHEMATICS TRAINING IN PEDAGOGICAL STAFF OF HIGHER EDUCATION OF UKRAINE (IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE XX CENTURY)

Abstract

The article describes the content and main historical stages of the formation and development of a training system for teaching staff, in particular teachers of mathematics, in pedagogical institutions of higher education of Ukraine. The peculiarities of the development of mathematics as a discipline in pedagogical institutes and universities of our state during the second half of the XX century are revealed. The historical and pedagogical conditions and factors of preparation of specialists in mathematics are generalized and systematized. The article also traces the evolution of the training of mathematics teachers during a definite historical period. The basic stages of development of mathematical education in educational institutions of Ukraine are determined.
