EVOLUTION SAISONNIERE DE LA QUALITE MICROBIOLOGIQUE DES EAUX DU LAC MELLAH (NORD-EST ALGERIEN)

Journal Title: Larhyss Journal - Year 2012, Vol 11, Issue 11

Abstract

The environment of the water resource and its quality are of vital importance in the world. Also in humid regions, the problem is a more serious before the water discharges into lakes, where lake Mellah north eastern Algeria. Lake Mellah of El Kala is one of the integral zone of El Kala National Park and its wetlands. On the international significance, the park is an exceptional natural multi-purpose. The biological richness of the lake depends entirely on the nature of its waters are a mixture of seawater and freshwater and waste water which has a significant runoff in the watershed. Followed by the analysis of biological parameters (total coliforms, fecal coliforms, streptococci) were analyzed in the laboratory DSP in different observation points has been a data processing through the establishment of a card faecal contamination of water supplies in the region, which informs us about the influence of discharges and water quality through a quality index which is calculated using microbiological method Bovesse and Depelchin (1980). The study of the index of microbiological contamination, lead to the establishment of seasonal maps of water quality, to see different areas of vulnerability. These maps will give a great interest in protecting the environment in general and the conservation of fishery products (fish and ......).
