Abstract
Thе article discusses the importance of the Eurasian diplomacy in the foreign policy of Japan, which was declared by former Prime Minister of Japan Ryutaro Hashimoto on 24 of July, 1997 to the representatives of the Association of business organizations. The author pays particular attention to the practical implementation of the Eurasian concept of foreign policy of Japan. Also look through some researches views, such as T.Uyama, T.Kadzuhiko. Despite all the criticism of the Eurasian Japan's diplomacy is worth noting that there also have been positive developments in bilateral relations with Central Asia countries. We can confidently state that the "Eurasian doctrine of Hashimoto" was the key for the other new projects and concepts for Central Asia. One of the example may be the dialogue "Central Asia plus Japan", initiated in Astana in 2004.
