Examining the Association between Implementing New Information Technology Systems and Development of Organizational Goals (Case Study: Members of Mines Commerce and Industry Chamber)

Abstract

The aim of the preset study is to examine the association between implementing new information technology systems and development of organizational goals. The study is applied, descriptive and survey in terms of goal, quality of data collection and quality of implantation. The statistical population comprise of 730 members working in Mines, Commerce and industry Chamber of Urmia. Using Cochran formula, 252 people were chosen as the sample size. To collect the data use was made by the questionnaire which involved 32 items. The reliability was obtained as 0.768 using Cronbach alpha coefficient. To make analysis on the data, descriptive and inferential statistics were employed. Kolmogorov-Smirnov along with Spearman correlation coefficient test were used. The results of the study indicated that there was a relationship between implementing new information technology systems and development of organizational goals in Mines, Commerce and Industry Chamber of Urmia.
