Examining the Capabilities of Using Information Technology System in Crisis Management (Case Study: West Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society)

Abstract
The aim of the present study is to examine capabilities of using information technology system in crisis management. The study is applied, descriptive and survey in terms of goal, design and quality of implementation, the statistical population comprises of 119 employees working in West Azerbaijan Red Crescent. Using Cochran formula, the sample size was determined as 91. To collect the data use was made by questionnaire involving 28 items. Using Cronbach alpha coefficient, the reliability was obtained as 0.89. Descriptive and inferential tests were used to make analysis on the research hypotheses. The results indicated that information technology systems have effect on crisis management.
