Exergy Performance of the Environmentally Friendly Refrigerant Mixture: R365mfc and R152a
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2015, Vol 3, Issue 1
Abstract
This work presents the exergy performance of new environmentally friendly refrigerants 1,1-difluoroethane (R152a) , 1,1,1,3,3-Pentafluorbutane (R365mfc) and particularly their mixture. A vapor compression refrigeration cycle was simulated to see the performance of a single stage cycle at different conditions. A comparative study including a wide range of effective parameters was done. The exergy destruction technique as a new factor for the design of the vapor compression refrigeration cycles was implemented. R365mfc has achieved higher Coefficient of Performance (COP). Furthermore an exergy analysis was employed for every component and for the whole cycle. Among all, the mixtures of R152a and R365mfc have provided higher exergy destruction, power consumption, cooling and heating capacity as compared with the pure fluids.

slugCorrelation of ultrasound pulse velocity with Mechanical properties and water absorption in Phosphogypsum- crushing sand-lime-cement building bricks
The present work focuses on the ultrasonic pulse velocity of crushing sand –lime-cement-phosphogypsum building bricks produced under a static compaction of 20MPa. It is observed that these bricks have sufficient Ultraso...
Generation of Biogas energy and its uses
This paper deals with generation of biogas and its uses as a alternate source of energy . The primary elements of biogas are methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2) and may have small amount of hydrogen sulphide (H2S). b...
Model analysis of al-sic and cast iron 4 stroke single cylinder engine crankshaft
the crankshaft is the heart of the engine which converts the reciprocating motion of the piston in to the linear motion through the connecting rod. An attempt is made in this paper on single cylinder 4 stroke I.C engine...
