Experiences in Defense Preparations of Selected Countries

Abstract
The paper compares defense preparations of selected countries: Germany, Finland, the United Kingdom and Sweden. While discussing the differences, the author also points out the underlying, common basis for various administrative and legal solutions applied by the states: the need for ensuring the security of the population and the continued operation of the multi-level government apparatus.<br/><br/>
