Experimental Determination of Pneumatic Muscle Inflation and Deflation Time
Recent research on pneumatic drive elements has yielded the development of a membrane type drive, known as pneumatic artificial muscle. A pneumatic artificial muscle is a contractile and linear motion engine operated by...
Drive with Rotative Speed Independent from the Engine of the Pressure Wave Compressors
With a view to achieving internal combustion engines as economical and less polluting as possible, in this paper a new configuration for the driving system of the pressure wave supercharging compressors is submitted. A n...
Command and Control of an Experimental Model of a Mechanical Vulcanizing Press
Research conducted at Transilvania University of Brasov, Romania, was orientated to exploring the possibilities of designing mechanical vulcanizing press with same or higher performances of hydraulic vulcanizing presses...
A Newton - Euler Approach to the Freely Suspended Load Swinging Problem
The present article is dedicated to the creation of a mathematical model for solving the problem of swinging of a freely suspended load, the pivot point of which moves along a known, spatial, time dependent or position d...
Torque Ripple Reduction in Direct Torque Control Induction Motor Drive Using SVM and FLDRC
Direct Torque Control (DTC) is a control technique used in AC drive systems to obtain high performance torque control. The conventional DTC drive contains a pair of hysteresis comparators, a flux and torque estimator and...
