Experimental Investigation of Heat Transfer in Heat Exchanger Using Different Geometry of Inserts
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2016, Vol 4, Issue 7
Abstract
The investigation of heat transfer coefficient and friction factor in a single tube heat exchanger with different geometry of inserts has been presented experimentally. The experimentally obtained data for different cases is compared with the data obtained for smooth tube. The experimental analysis has been made and results were obtained for the Reynolds’s number ranging from 3000 to 18000.

Heat Transfer Analysis by CFD Simulation for Different shapes of Fins
An air-cooled motorcycle engine releases heat to the atmosphere through the mode of forced convection to facilitate this, fins are provided on the outer surface of the cylinder. The heat transfer rate depends upon the v...
Integrated Automated System in Railway Network by Fuzzy Toolboxes
Nowadays we are witnessing a huge development in railways and an enormous increase in the number of trains. Even though it brings us a lot of boons, there is also a danger of losing lives in the unmanned level crossings...
MHD Effect on Free Convective Flow of a Stratified Fluid through Porous Medium Bounded By a Vertical Plane
In this work, MHD effect on free convective flow of a stratified fluid through a porous medium bounded by a vertical plane is investigated. Considering both viscous and Darcy dissipations, the temperature of the plate i...
A Methodology for the Visualization of Symmetric Encryption
Unified omniscient theory have led to many unproven advances, including IPv4 [19] and multicast methodologies. While this finding is rarely an appropriate objective, it fell in line with our expectations. After years of...
Factors Influencing Safety in Construction Project and Behavior Based Safety Management Approach
Construction works all over the world pose serious threat to workers and non-workers. This study investigates the current scenario of labor’s working in construction industry in terms of Health, Safety and Environmental...
