Experimental Research Regarding the Dynamic Performance of Pneumatic Muscles
Journal Title: RECENT - Year 2011, Vol 12, Issue 33
Abstract
Pneumatic muscles continue to generate significant research interest due to their unique advantages. They are low-cost, safe, clean, and possess a high power to weight ratio. The paper presents some of the results of research carried out in the Fluidtronics Laboratory of the Transilvania University of Brasov. The experiments aimed at determining inflation and deflation times, the response time and response accuracy in the pressure control.

Dynamic Modeling of a Vibrating Separator with Inertial Excitation Considering Gyroscopic Effects
Subject of this work is examination of vibrating separator dynamical behaviour under directed inertial force excitation provided from synchronous spinning of two unbalanced shafts. For that purpose a dynamical model repr...
Analysis of the Performance Criteria of Optoelectronic Systems
Analysing the results of the case study, I believe that the optimal choice optoelectronic systems is very important to determine and rank the performance criteria according to their contribution to fulfilling the mission...
TWO FEATURES OF THE ECOLOGICAL WOODEN BRIQUETTES
This paper presents some features of the ecological and experimental briquettes realized from wooden biomass. There are presented some advantages of the wooden biomass use such as combustible material, raw material and t...
Theoretical Analysis Regarding the Asymmetrical Fluid Flow Applied to Helicopter Aerodynamics
The main topic of the present paper is the asymmetrical fluid flow application with the purpose of finding the best solutions to replace the anti-torque rotor of single-rotor helicopters using the Coandă Effect. This wou...
Multicriterial Optimization Applied for Choosing the Measuring Instrument
According to David C. Crosby, "If you don’t know the capability of your measurement system, you don’t know if your measurements, or your products, are good or bad". Starting from this basic it had been made an comparativ...
