EXPORT-CREDIT AGENCY AS A MECHANISM FOR DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH-TECHNOLOGY EXPORT IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article argues the necessity to launch an export credit agency (ECA) in Ukraine in order to ensure state guarantees, insurance and affordable lending for export suppliers. Experience of foreign countries in the field of ensuring the effective functioning of national export-credit (export-insurance) agencies is analyzed. The norms of international trade law, which regulate and legitimize the use of ECA as a mechanism for export supplies intensification, are systemized. The modern problems and prospects of ECA creation in Ukraine are investigated. The lack of alternatives for ECA in the system of high-technology exports promotion is proved. Using the methods of economic-mathematical modeling, the impact of ESA launch in Ukraine on the dynamics of key macroeconomic indicators and sectors of the national economy in the medium-term period is calculated.
