Journal Title: Здоров`я дитини - Year 2014, Vol 4, Issue 55
Abstract
There is summarized the experience of the clinic, concerning 30 observations of complex enterectomies. Analysis of these cases showed that the need to perform extensive enterectomy occurs in the most severe bowel malformations and diseases in children. The author draws attention to the individual approaches in selection of treatment modality when restoring the continuity of the intestinal canal, taking into account the features of the underlying disease, its complications and the severity of patient’s condition, as well as a possible early closing of enterostomy because of the risk of consumption of child’s organism.
