EXTERNAL FACTORS OF TRANSIT SOCIAL MOVEMENTS’ CREATION IN THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPEAN COUNTRIES

Abstract
The peculiarities of the formation and functioning of social movements in the Central and Eastern European countries in the period of the transformation of political systems are considered. The influence of external factors on the formation and activity of the transit movements is analyzed. In particular, the role of the Polish trade union “Solidarity” in determining of specificity of transit movements in the studied region is described.
