EXTRACTION AND PURIFICATION OF LOCALYHORSERADISH PEROXIDASE

Journal Title: WORLD JOURNAL PHARMACY AND PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCE - Year 2017, Vol 6, Issue 5

Abstract

Horseradish peroxidase is a comprising enzyme which canbe appropriate to oxidoreductases and is intricate indegradation of definiteintractable organic complexes like phenol and substituted phenol via freeradical polymerization. Peroxidase was extracted and purified from horseradish usingammonium sulphatefor dialysis, gel filtration and precipitationchromatography. Spectrophotometer was used for essay ofhorseradish peroxidase in this present research. It was concluded that horseradish peroxidase increased activity by purification. In addition to itsbeneficial incharacterization of glucose in blood and complexes; moreover it can destroymicrobial strains.
