Factors of institutionalization political opposition

Abstract
The main factors that affect the degree of opposition involvement into the state activity had been revealed. The authors analyzed the problem of the institutionalization of the parliamentary opposition in the presidential republic and parliamentary republic 1) with the “Westminster model” or parliamentary opposition without veto right for government decisions; 2) with parliamentary opposition with veto right for government decisions; 3) with the model of direct democracy, in terms of the model of mixed republic of French semi presidential model where the majority and the opposition are not separated by regulations, and a classic example of a mixed republic, when there is a clear differentiation of the majority and the opposition status. It is noted that the level of institutionalization of parliamentary opposition depends on the form of government, particularly, on the level of influence of the Parliament (majority) to form a government and control over its activities.
