FACTORS UNDERLYING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE IMAGINATIVE TECHNIQUES OF PSYCHOTHERAPY

Abstract
The article is devoted to the theoretical analysis of the factors of the effectiveness of imaginative techniques in psychotherapeutic practice. Three levels of effectiveness of the imaginative psychotherapeutic methods have been identified: the psychophysiological level reflects the functioning of the central and autonomic nerv- ous system as well as the endocrine system in response to affective imagination. The general psychotherapeu- tic level highlights the factors of the efficacy of imagination, which are common in different psychotherapeutic approaches. Psychodynamic level analyzes the phenomenon of imagination in relation to traditional methods of psychoanalysis - insight and therapeutic relationship.
