FACULTY STAFF AT THE KHARKIV UNIVERSITY (1900 – 1917)

Abstract
The evolution of academic staff at the Kharkiv University during 1900 – 1917 is investigated in the article. The organizational and methodical activities of the university to select the candidates for vacant departments of faculties are described. The leading role of private-docents in the scientific and pedagogical heritage of educational institution is defined. It is emphasized that private-docents provided a big information and scientific impulse for process at faculties.
