Fahreddîn Râzî’nin Nefs Kavramı ve Mahiyetine Yönelik Yaklaşımı

Abstract
Râzî’s (d. 606/1209) aproach regarding concept and nature of the nafs expecially can accepted as a synthesis and syncretize of Islamic philosophers and theologians. In this sense he defends teory of ‘‘Intangible of the essence’’ with regard to existence and creation of the nafs, the relationship between the nafs and the body and immortality of the nafs. Likewise according to Râzî, when a person says ‘‘I’’, corresponds to his nafs, he accepted the body and the nafs are two different essences. According to him, nature of the created beings before coming to self of them. Now then the nafs which exist in advance as a nature, has began a relation with the body consisting of physical essence and symptoms. As a result of this relationship the nafs has made its own means . In this article will be examined Râzî’s aproach about to concept and nature of the nafs, who has deal with in the framework of the general system of thought him.
