FAMINE OF 1932-1933-TH YEARS IN THE TOWN CHECHELNYK: EYEWITNESSES

Abstract
The article is based on collected by the author eyewitnesses that show a picture of the daily life of the Chechelnyk town during the famine of 1932-1933 years. Features occurrence of famine associated with socio-economic and ethnic conditions of small-town life. It was due to the presence of different social classes, agricultural, industrial and handicraft enterprises, as well as cultural, educational and medi cal institutions. It significantly differ the town from rural settlement.
