Farmers’ Economic Behaviour: Current Research and Research Gaps

Abstract
The aim of this article is to review economic approaches that have been adopted to explain how farmers adjust in response to business environment change (e.g. policy reforms). In the first part, traditional economic approaches to farmers’ behaviour are described. After that, an important existing research gap in this academic area is highlighted.
