Fast Solutions for Lossless Anisotropic Electromagnetic Scattering and Radiation Problems Using the FDTD Method
Journal Title: Cumhuriyet Science journal - Year 2018, Vol 39, Issue 4
Abstract
In this paper, an acceleration technique is proposed to solve electromagnetic scattering and radiation problems, which contain lossless anisotropic (Lossless-ANI) materials, based on the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. This technique provides a remarkable reduction in the simulation time of Lossless-ANI electromagnetic problems. A microstrip patch antenna (MPA) with a Lossless-ANI substrate, and electromagnetic scattering and radiation problems involved a Lossless-ANI scattering object are analyzed to show the performance of the acceleration technique. Numerical results show that resonant frequencies of the MPA, the bistatic radar cross section (RCS) of the scattering problem, and the directivity pattern of the radiation problem are affected by the anisotropy.

Altitude Triggers Some Biochemical Adaptations of Polygonum cognatum Meissn. Plants
Madimak is a local name of Polygonum cognatum which is known as a nutrient- and phenolic-rich edible plant in Turkish traditional cuisine. Knotweed (madimak) is usually found in both agricultural and non-agricultural are...
A Mechanism of Eddy Generation in A Single Lid-Driven T-Shaped Cavity
The two-dimensional (2D) steady, incompressible, Stokes flow is considered in a T-shaped cavity which has the upper-lid moving in horizontal directions. A Galerkin finite element method is used to investigate a new eddy...
Some New Time Scales Weighted Ostrowski-Grüss Type Inequalities
In this paper, we obtain some new weighted Ostrowski-Grüss type inequalities on time scales. We also give some other interesting inequalities as special cases. 2010 Mathematics Subject Classifications : 26D15; 26E70.
