Fault Diagnosis usingImproved Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm
Journal Title: International Journal of engineering Research and Applications - Year 2018, Vol 8, Issue 6
Abstract
:In this paper a novel method for solving diagnostic problems more effectively was designed by using a soft computing method. Firstly, vibration signal was measured and analyzed, secondly, the diagnostic tasks were solved by Ant Colony Optimization technique (ACO) and Genetic algorithm technique (GA) using analyzed data. The purpose of using GA and ACO is to compare them with our proposed method that combines advantages of both, GA and ACO algorithms. The created method integrates principles of both approaches and illustrates benefits of applying the integration of ACO and GA to solve diagnostic problems. The novel method provides better performance in both effectiveness and efficiency than the simple GA and ACO algorithms.

Impact of Demonetization on Indian Economy
The argument to place in favour of demonetisation is that the cash that would be extinguished would be “black money and fake currency” and hence, should be rightfully extinguished to set right the unreasonable incentive...
A Comparative Study of Four Different Non-Isolated Bidirectional DC-DC Converters
Inthis paper, four different topologies of Non-Isolated Bidirectional DC-DC converters are compared. Their modes of operations and the design of passive components are presented in detail for all the topologies. The sele...
Experimental Investigation of Using Ultra-Fine Glass Powder in Concrete
The Ultra- Fine Glass Powder (UFGP) smaller than 0.075 mm (No. 200) produced from grinding and polishing edges on flat glass of different size and thickness, has been used instead of sand in different proportions which a...
Sway Analysis of Rigid Jointed Portal Frame by Using Simplified Approach Method in Rotation Contribution Method (Kani’s Method)
Analysis of rigid jointed portal frame involves lots of complication and tedious calculation by using displacement factor and conversion factor in Kani’s method. Displacement factor is required in Kani’s method during th...
Optimization of Voltage, Delay, Power and Area for 16 bit Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) in VLSI Circuits using 45nm Technology
In Very-large-scale integration (VLSI) application area, delay and power are the important factors for any digital circuits. This paper presents 16 bit Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) mapped in Cadence Encounter(R) RTL Com...
