Features of Encephalitis Manifestation in Children Nowadays (Review of Clinical Cases)

Abstract
The article deals with the key issues of viral encephalitis manifestation in children nowadays, particularly those ones related to clinical and diagnostic search and treatment of the disease. Three clinical cases of viral encephalitis in children are described. According to our observations nowadays viral encephalitis in children is characterized by clinical and paraclinical atypical course that requires a comprehensive and collegial diagnostic approach. Timely administration of antiviral therapy with acyclovir dosed 10 mg/kg three times a day provides reduction of mortality and adverse neurological outcomes, as well as improves the quality of life and social adaptation of children.
