Features of improving the choice of insurance travel programs in Ukraine

Abstract
The state of the insurance market and the cost of tourism insurance in Ukraine are analyzed. For tourists traveling outside the country, the necessity of acquiring an insurance policy with the maximum possible insurance coverage is substantiated. The vast majority of Ukrainian tourists use only a mandatory insurance program offered by a travel agency. When traveling abroad, the insurance company may also provide tourists with insurance for financial risks associated with luggage loss, unforeseen refusal to travel or pre-return to permanent residence. The global financial crisis has affected almost all aspects of human life. Usually, the problems of survival in difficult conditions touched the tourism business, and closely related to the tourism insurance market in Ukraine. One of the positive points, favorable both for tour operators and Ukrainian tourists traveling abroad, is the stabilization of existing low tariffs for insurance services in tourism. In this regard, it is quite relevant to ask the right choice of insurance services package when purchasing a tourist voucher for traveling abroad. Unfortunately, neither travel companies that make trips, nor insurance companies do not endeavor to provide the tourist with full and qualitative information on the possibility of an insurance policy. In 2018, the growth rates of premiums and insurance companies fell, while payments increased significantly. The average level of payments in the regions of Ukraine was 41 %. In addition, the number of insurance companies in our country is several times higher than the average number of insurers adopted in the developed countries in the insurance industry. Today in Ukraine insurance services are provided by 469 companies. When traveling abroad, the insurance company may also provide tourists with insurance for financial risks associated with luggage loss, unforeseen refusal to travel or pre-return to permanent residence. In addition, there are a lot of special insurance programs. However, the offer of such services in Ukrainian insurance companies is almost absent. For tourists who have to rest outside Ukraine, there are many insurance programs and opportunities to provide insurance protection for their lives, health, property.
