FEATURES OF MANAGEMENT OF FINANCIAL RESOURCES IN UNIVERSAL AND SPECIALIZED BANKS: COMPARATIVE CHARACTERISTICS

Abstract
Purpose. Investigation of the features of financial resources management in modern universal and specialized banks, as well as for a clear idea of the distinction between them allocation and a description of their general characteristics. Methodology of research. The research uses the method of comparative analysis and the method of theoretical generalization: 1) to determine and describe the features of the activities of universal and specialized banks; 2) to clarify the differences between specialized banks from universal; 3) to define and describe the features of financial resources management in banks of both types. Findings. It was certain that there are significant differences between the universal and specialized banks regarding their activities, in particular, in the direction of the formation and preservation of the resource base. It is justified that the order, depth and types of activity from the management of financial resources in universal and specialized banks have significant differences. Certainly, it is extremely important for the bank to implement exactly the planning of financial resources, and highly qualified provision of motivation for clients, at the same time, will provide an opportunity to consolidate the stability of the bank's resource base for a significant period, regardless of its specialization. Originality. For the first time: summarizes the features of the activities of the universal and specialized banks; defined and described the differences of specialized banks from universal ones, as well as features of financial resources management in banks of both types. Practical value. The results of the research can be used by banking management in practical activity in the direction of forming and managing the resource base of the bank, as well as researchers in the sphere of banking management.
