FEATURES OF SUBMISSION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE NEWSPAPER IN THE TERRITORY OF THE KYIV GENERAL GOVERNMENT IN THE POSTREFORM PERIOD (1861–1914)

Abstract
The article describes the conditions for the development of the Ukrainian newspaper business. The period of development of the newspaper business in the postreform period is distinguished and the repertoire of some newspapers is estimated. In the research, new approaches are being formed, which are formed under the influence of certain phenomena and processes that take place in Ukrainian society. The article outlines some aspects of the formation and development of a periodical press within the bounds of the Kiev General Governorate during the period of reforms that took place from 1861 to 1914 and their role in the socio-political life of Ukrainians.
