FEATURES OF THE ADAPTATION PROCESS AMONG FOREIGN STUDENTS IN THE APPLICATION OF CORRECTING-DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Abstract
The article presents a theoretical analysis of the problem of foreign students’ adaptation to study in Ukrainian universities. A theoretical grounds for the development of social intelligence as a component of the student’s inclusion in social life is given. The level of foreign students’ social intelligence was examined and the diff erence in its development for students of fi rst and third years was determined. Based on the research results the correction and development program was developed to increase the level of development of the components of foreign students’ social intelligence. Verifi cation of the eff ectiveness of the proposed program was made and its eff ectiveness was proved.
